Dial Reading Viscometer:

The original Dial Reading Viscometer has been the lab standard around the world since 1934. Brookfield have since improved their current units to have multi-speed electronic drive and ergonomically designed speed control knob so selecting any of the 10 pre-set speeds is fast and easy. There is a direct-drive design which allows for extremely quiet operation and versatility.

Torque Measurements and Applications:

LV:

The thinnest materials can be measured as it is for low viscosity materials. Examples of low viscosity materials include inks, oils, and solvents.

RV:

This is for medium viscosity materials higher than those measured with an LV torque. Examples of medium viscosity materials include creams, food, and paints.

HA:

Higher viscosity materials can be measured with HA torque. Examples of these higher viscosity materials include gels, chocolate, and epoxies.

HB:

This is for even higher viscosity materials than those measured with a HA torque spring. Examples of this include asphalt, caulking compounds, and molasses.
