RSX Rheometers

The RSX Rheometer series is the latest AMETEK Brookfield has to offer for instruments that operate in controlled shear rate (rpm) and controlled shear stress (torque) modes used in rheological analysis. These touchscreen rheometers have automatic data collection and analysis using the optional Rheo3000 software. The RSX rheometers have the greatest flexibility and features than any other high-end rheometers for a cost-effective price.

All the RSX Rheometers come with 7-inch touchscreens and 200 mNm motor. The rheometers come with standalone simplicity for QC users and an automatic gap setting and auto-immersion for quick and simple use. These are also available in cone plate (CPS, Peltier, and Fluid Heated), coaxial cylinder (CC), and soft solids testers (SST) configurations.

• Quick Connect Coupling System for easy spindle attachment with exceedingly small sample size permits rapid test set up and clean up

• Rapid Temperature Control of plate with Peltier or fluid heated options for quick profiling of viscosity vs. temperature
• Can be used on production floor due to rugged design
• Vane Spindle Geometry (for SST applications) with:
  • Quick-Connect coupling
  • Rapid spindle insertion without compromising sample structure
  • Quick and simple test methods
  • Auto immersion inserts the vane spindle into the sample at the correct height
• Quantifies meaningful properties like stiffness, wobbliness, sloppiness, consistency, and texture
