Supplements and Additives

Supplements and additives are used to increase a given culture media selectivity. A supplement or additive is not included in a medium to begin with due to the sensitivity of sterilisation. Temperature needs to be added on certain occasions, to help the isolation and identification of specific microorganisms. The supplements developed by Condalab are available in freeze-dried vials or vials with sterile solutions to increase stability and greater lifetime without impacting the quality or functionality of the products.
