It can record over 1,000 hours of continuous video of the dissolution and disintegration processes. The tablet dissolution tester is also capable of capturing still images at preprogramed intervals which makes it possible to examine the dissolution at different layers of multi-layered tablets. There is also a blackout option available to prevent damaging any light-sensitive tablets and the application ranges from out-of-specification drugs to optimising drug formulations.
