Lab Unlimited COVID-19 Update and Measures
We would like to reassure you that we are operating as normal and continue to supply essential products and services to all our customers. We take the safety of our employees and customers very seriously and have taken all preventative measures and recommendations against the Coronavirus as advised by the HSE, Irish Government bodies and the World Health Organisation (WHO). Currently more than 75% of our team are working remotely with the remainder ensuring supply chains continue uninterrupted as far as possible.
Below are the measures we have taken in response to COVID-19:
- All face to face meetings have been postponed or will happen via Skype, Microsoft Teams or other platform
- The number of staff on our premises has been reduced to a minimum with everyone else working from home.
- All trips abroad and visits from international guests have been suspended.
- The Carl Stuart Team are strictly adhering to WHO hygiene and social/physical guidelines whilst we continue our operations as normal as possible.
Lab Unlimited, part of the Carl Stuart Group, works with over 500 different manufacturers worldwide and we are monitoring our supply chain daily. For the most part we continue to supply critical products to our customers during the current pandemic. Some products, mostly PPE items have seen some disruption in their respective supply chains. The unprecedented demand for these products internationally, coupled with export restrictions have added considerable delays to delivery times for most PPE & hand disinfectant items.
We will continue to monitor global situation, informing customers of changes to lead times as soon as possible, we appreciate your understanding. Products already impacted by Covid-19 will be labelled as such in the products pages of our website(s).
Our field and inhouse engineers will continue to provide maintenance and calibration services as normal. Additional precautions will be followed in approving site visits, all information will be shared by our scheduling team with each customer before any site visit.
As part of our commitment to our customers we will continue to deliver the best service possible during this crisis. By and large our supply chain is operating normally, when there are delays with certain products we ask for your patience and understanding.
