How Conductivity Sensors Work: Principles and Practice in Water Quality Monitoring Webinar

The Conductivity Sensor Webinar will take place on August 6th at 6pm.

Conductivity is a critical parameter in virtually every water quality monitoring application as it correlates to ionic concentration and the purity of water.

The webinar will be discussing:

• Why it is important to monitor conductivity
• Differences between conductivity, specific conductance, and salinity
• Conductivity sensor technology and principles of operation
• Real-world practice to demonstrate both the value and limitations of field-deployed conductivity sensors

Zack Henderson - YSI Assistant Product Manager, received his Bachelor of Science in International Business from Wright State University in 2009. That same year, he started with Fondriest Environmental in a sales/marketing role before working as an applications engineer and eventually managing the rental and repair of various water quality instruments. Through this experience, Zack developed a deep knowledge of conductivity sensor technology. Since joining YSI/Xylem in 2017 as EMS Assistant Product Manager, Zack has been focused on sustaining and new product development for YSI’s flagship EXO Platform with a heavy focus on the next generation CTD Sonde.
