Texture Analysis is being used in a variety of applications in different industries and public sectors. This technique is applied to measure the response of a product under controlled mechanical stress conditions. These conditions mean that a sample can be pushed (compression test) or pulled (tension test) by means of a texture analyser and then measured to analyse what happens.
