The magnetic stirrer TWSITER is a universal and compact device with a magnetic drive. It is a powerful single-position magnetic stirrer for mixing up to 5 litres at a max. speed of 3000 rpm and a viscosity of up to 500 mPas. With the assistance of additional TWISTER stirring units, this magnetic stirrer can be expanded to a multi-position stirrer with up to 30 stirring positions. The stirring positions can be controlled either separately or simultaneously (leader-follower principle).

Having multi-position stirring attachments available means the drive is transformed into a magnetic stirrer with 9 stirring positions for efficient mixing of sample vessels with small volumes (8 - 60 ml). The TW.VX shaker attachment transforms the universal magnetic drive into a vortex or orbital shaker.
The TWISTER magnetic stirrer allows for a new way of interacting between user and laboratory instrument. There is an intuitive and chemically resistant LED glass display where all information can be conveyed without any alpha-numeric display. The speed or the power required for the stirring can be displayed e.g. the viscosity changes can be observed and displayed as percentages. The mixing can be started by pressing a button as well as by placing or touching the beaker. This stirrer also includes a reverse function that changes the direction of rotation at definable time intervals. This leads to significant improvements in the mixing result, specifically with difficult to mix samples.
The high protection class IP 66 allows operating under harsh conditions. The magnetic stirrer can be cleaned under the tap or operated in an incubator at temperatures of up to 40°C.
