These Whatman mixed cellulose ester membranes are made of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate. These membranes have a 3.1 black grid, is sterile, 0.45µm, and 47mm. These membranes come in a pack of 100. They are characterized by smoother and more uniform surfaces than pure nitrocellulose filters. The colour provided by the filter surface allows particle detection and minimises eye fatigue. This ME range has a low cellulose acetate content.
